The Laval Hospice (MSPL), founded in 2010, provides free palliative care to adults in the terminal phase of illness. With its 12 private rooms and shared spaces, it offers a warm and peaceful environment for patients and their loved ones.
The interdisciplinary team — including doctors, a pharmacist, social workers, nurses, care attendants, volunteers, and support staff — is available 24/7 to maximize the comfort and quality of life of residents.
Accommodation is free, and medications are purchased by the hospice and covered either by the patient’s private insurance or by the RAMQ.
