Résidence Sérénité
The former workers of the Pavillon Saint-Ludger de la FSSS-CSN created the Résidence Sérénité de Saint-Ludger in Estrie thanks to the development of a worker’s co-operative and with consultation from elected municipal officials who wanted to ensure there was housing available for seniors in their community. The Résidence Sérénité worker’s co-operative is a housing complex for autonomous seniors or those with a loss of autonomy. Located in Saint-Ludger, in the MRC of Granit in Estrie, it can accommodate approximately 30 residents. Once on the premises, they can take advantage of many services including meals, housekeeping, personalized services as well as services provided by the HSSC. The single rooms are all equipped with a washroom.
