The Résidence Florentine-Dansereau, the former convent of Verchères, is located in Verchères in Montérégie. The Florentine-Dansereau Residence welcomes autonomous, semi-autonomous and non-autonomous elderly people. People with Alzheimer's are also welcome. This place is a safe and comfortable place where seniors can hope to live peacefully. All rooms have a bathroom with a suitable shower. In addition, an emergency call system, located in the rooms and bathrooms, allows staff to be reached at any time. An elevator provides access to all floors and an exterior personnel elevator allows residents with reduced mobility to avoid stairs to go outside. The Florentine-Dansereau Residence offers several services such as: housekeeping, clothing and bedding maintenance, visits from doctors and nurses from the CLSC, table service during meals, activities led by the volunteers, a hairdressing salon (paid access) and a community room. To enjoy the outdoors, swings and a magnificent veranda are available.
