Résidence Au Soleil Levant
The Résidence au Soleil Levant, located in Bécancour, in the Centre-du-Québec region, has been established since 1985 and was fully renovated in 2009. In addition to short- and long-term accommodation services, the residence offers care for individuals with cognitive challenges, such as Alzheimer's disease, or those requiring constant nursing and assistance care.
The Résidence au Soleil Levant features 17 rooms dedicated to individuals with Alzheimer's and 47 rooms for a diverse clientele (autonomous individuals, those with reduced autonomy, palliative care, physical disabilities, etc.). A contract with the CIUSSS Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec includes nine intermediate resource beds specifically for individuals with Alzheimer's.
A medical clinic is held on-site every two weeks to ensure close monitoring. Additionally, weekly nursing care enables the quick detection of any changes in residents' conditions. Daily activities are provided to stimulate and maintain the abilities of seniors. Finally, a warm, dedicated, and specialized team is always present to provide optimal care for your loved one.
