Résidence Au Soleil Levant
La Résidence au Soleil Levant, located in Bécancour in the Centre-du-Québec region, has been welcoming seniors since 1985 and was fully renovated in 2009. The residence offers short- and long-term accommodation services, as well as care tailored to individuals experiencing loss of autonomy or cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. Résidence Au Soleil Levant includes 16 rooms dedicated to residents with Alzheimer’s and 47 rooms for various clienteles (independent seniors, those with reduced autonomy, palliative care, physical disabilities, etc.). A partnership with the CIUSSS Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec also provides intermediate resource beds for residents with Alzheimer’s. A medical clinic is held on-site every two weeks to ensure close follow-up, while weekly nursing care helps detect any changes in condition quickly. Daily activities are offered to stimulate and maintain residents’ abilities. Finally, a warm, specialized, and dedicated team is available at all times to provide personalized, optimal care, with nursing services on call 24/7.
