Maison des Aînés Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

The Maison des aînés Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is a non-profit organization that provides affordable and safe housing for people aged 75 and over with low incomes who are either independent or experiencing a slight loss of autonomy. Located in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood of Montreal, it offers a community-based living environment that promotes respect, mutual support, inclusion, and the maintenance of seniors’ independence.

No personal care services are provided on site; residents must therefore be fully independent or rely on support from CLSC services or their families. However, the residence offers several community services, including evening and weekend supervision, psychosocial support, assistance with community life, and the organization of activities and workshops. An affordable lunch service is also available from Monday to Thursday.
