Founded in 1989, the Centre d'Accueil Marcelle-Ferron (CAMF) is a CHSLD (long-term care facility) partner of the Centre intégré de santé et des services sociaux of Montérégie-Centre and Montérégie-Ouest (CISSS). The Centre d’Accueil Marcelle-Ferron’s mission is to offer adults with a loss of functional or psychosocial autonomy a safe, alternative living environment. Since 2009, the Centre d’Accueil Marcelle-Ferron has been home to 249 residents. The Centre has 201 single occupancy rooms and 24 double occupancy rooms. Each room is furnished with a bed, dresser, table and chair.
