Senior’s Residence Advisor Quebec city
Résidences Québec is a fast-growing company that offers support and guidance to seniors who are looking for a suitable living environment in a senior’s residence.
Résidences Québec’s mission is to offer senior citizens and their families FREE advisory services based on their needs, level of autonomy and financial situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and quickly process online file requests for new clients Meet clients and follow-up on their files in the computerized system
- Evaluate your clients’ concrete needs and assess their level of autonomy using internal documents
- Act as a resource person for senior citizens and their families
- Schedule appointments with residences and accompany the senior and family members on in-person visits
- Support and provide guidance to the client until they sign a lease Develop business on your designated territory, build and maintain relationships in the health network and with community organizations, etc.
- Familiarize yourself with the residences, care and services offered in your region and stay up-to-date on available spots
- Conduct residence evaluations on a regular basis Follow-up with the client after signing the lease SKILLS As a candidate, you want to work as a residence advisor and you’re willing to invest yourself in this job of an autonomous nature, over the long term.
- You must be able to adapt easily, work autonomously, be available to clients and results-oriented.
- You have business acumen, you’re comfortable as an intermediary and are able to manage several files simultaneously.
- You demonstrate empathy towards seniors, and you analyze your client’s needs before offering any solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales experience (in the retirement home sector or in real estate)
- Experience as a rental residence advisor (an asset)
- Experience in the health and social services sector Diploma of College Studies Experience working in a CSSS and providing homecare (an asset)
- Experience in gerontology (an asset) Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle (mandatory)
