The Résidence de Mont-Joli is a seniors’ residence located in Mont-Joli for autonomous residents aged 75 and over. The residence includes 45 apartments, including 7 studios, 36 one-bedroom units and 2 two-bedroom units. The building is equipped with a generator and a complete sprinkler system, and all units are universally accessible and adapted for residents with reduced mobility. Each unit includes a bedroom (except for studios), a full bathroom and a small kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, microwave, sink and cabinets. The residence also provides a resource person available 24 hours a day to offer support and intervene if necessary. The residence aims to maintain the autonomy of seniors while promoting their integration and well-being. Services offered include two meals per day (lunch and dinner), housekeeping services for two hours per week provided by Les Bourgeons de La Mitis (not included in the lease), organization of recreational and social activities, continuous supervision seven days a week through tenant support staff and office employees, an emergency call bracelet, cable television, telephone service and an emergency telephone in the bathrooms, as well as an elevator in the building.
