The Résidence Rokia is a residence for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors. The Rokia retirement home is managed by an auxiliary nurse and is located in downtown Gatineau. The Résidence Rokia was built at the end of 2017, making it a new and modern residence. It is located close to many amenities including parks, bus stops, library, shopping centre, movie theatre and grocery store. This residence has 6 single occupancy rooms that are all situated on one floor. On the same floor you will find a living room, dining room, kitchen and, two adapted and well-equipped bathrooms for those with a loss of autonomy. Many services are included in the rental fees: – Administration of medication – Surveillance 24 hours per day – A surveillance system that is connected to the central police station – Intercoms and alert systems in every room and all the washrooms – Air conditioning in the corridors – Assistance with daily activities (bathing, getting dressed, cooking) – Wi-Fi – TV in the living room – Laundry room – Housekeeping services – Telephone in the living room for everyone to use – Room service on request – Mail delivery – 3 meals and 2 snacks per day – Table service in the dining room – Help preparing food – Menus with meals that respect dietary needs (low sodium, diabetic) available everyday
