Résidence Gérard-Blanchet is a non-profit private seniors’ residence located in Desbiens, near Lac Saint-Jean and close to the city’s main services and amenities. It welcomes low-income, independent seniors in its 20 one-bedroom apartments. These apartments are eligible for the housing allowance, allowing the residence to offer affordable housing options.
The residence does not provide personal care services. Residents must therefore be able to carry out their daily activities independently or, if needed, receive assistance and services from the CLSC.
