Résidence de l’Île is a private seniors’ residence located in the heart of the Hull sector of Gatineau. It welcomes semi-independent seniors, including those experiencing cognitive decline, in a warm, safe and supportive environment.
Housed in a former downtown church that was converted into a residence more than 30 years ago, the residence provides a living environment that promotes residents’ comfort, independence and well-being. Adapted units and personalized support are available based on each resident’s level of autonomy. A range of care and services is also offered to make daily life easier while providing residents with safety and peace of mind.
Résidence de l’Île also offers a variety of social, physical and recreational activities, including pétanque, yoga, card games, bingo, reading, movies and various seasonal activities. Several common areas, including a library, chapel, terraces, games room and home theatre, provide residents with opportunities to socialize, relax and enjoy an active community life.
