Résidence Boiscastel
In 1997, the town of Coaticook in Estrie welcomed the Résidence Boiscastel. This retirement home is located in an environment that is rich in vegetation. You can admire the view while you enjoy the large outdoor courtyard and the terrace nestled on the roof of the building. Autonomous seniors or those with a loss of autonomy can be accommodated in the single or double rooms. The special care unit, established in 2015, is able to accommodate people with Alzheimer’s disease. This new unit is spread over two floors and has 18 rooms. The new facilities have improved the safety for residents. There is now an emergency alert system, sprinklers and a central alarm connected to the residence. They also provide anti-wandering bracelets to patients who are susceptible to wandering. The mission of the Résidence Boiscastel de Coaticook is to provide residents with the most autonomy possible. The staff is there to help them establish a routine that will foster independence.
