Description
The seniors' residence Angelica is a non-profit organization (NPO) located in Montreal North. The residence and Day centre are founded by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Mary. Résidence Angelica has a tenant section for autonomous seniors on the 18th to 20th floors. In addition Résidence Angelica offers housing and care to non-autonomous seniors. Accommodation costs and services for residents are governed by the Health Services Act and Social Services, as is the case for public institutions. Résidence Angelica is a residential and long-term care nursing home for people who have total loss of autonomy, whose condition requires constant monitoring and specialized care, and for whom home living was no longer a safe option.
