La Maison du Berger
La Maison du Berger is a private seniors’ residence located in the peaceful community of Waterville. It welcomes autonomous and semi-autonomous older adults, including those with mild cognitive impairment, within its 17 private rooms and 5 double-occupancy rooms, allowing couples to remain together despite a loss of autonomy. An agreement with the CSSS is in place, enabling the residence to provide additional services to residents as needed.
The residence promotes independence and encourages the preservation of residents’ physical and cognitive abilities. Its fenced garden provides a safe environment where individuals living with cognitive impairment can move about freely both indoors and outdoors.
