Habitat Morin-Heights
Habitat Morin-Heights is a private senior residence that caters to individuals aged 75 and older, or those experiencing a mild loss of autonomy. It is located behind the Chalet Bellevue community center, in the heart of the village of Morin-Heights, close to many services such as a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurant, library, as well as recreational facilities including parks and walking trails. The project aims to provide affordable housing with services and is funded by the Société d’habitation du Québec through the AccèsLogis program. Habitat Morin-Heights offers 30 3 ½ units, each with outdoor space and hookups for five appliances. Lunch and dinner are included, and 24/7 monitoring is provided through an emergency bracelet system.
