Upcoming in 2020

New residences in Montérégie and Montréal’s South Shore

  • A new retirement home offering à la carte services as well as all-inclusive options will open in Brossard, on Montréal’s South Shore. This residence will be called the Jazz Brossard. — Set to open in summer 2020

Jazz Brossard

The Jazz Brossard will be located close to the Quartier DIX30 and will have 400 units when construction is completed. The Jazz Brossard will offer its residents bright apartments ranging in size from studios to 5½ with private balcony. They will offer round the clock security services. They will also have a shared kitchen, an electric carshare program, exercise room, indoor pool, outdoor patio and much more. You’ll be super comfortable at the Jazz Brossard!

  • A new retirement home for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors will open its doors in Saint-Zotique: the O’ St-François—Set to open in summer 2020

O St-François

This new construction project will have 253 apartments (with services) available for rent (1½ , 2½, 3½, 4½ and 5½). The suites will offer a magnificent view of Lac Saint-François. In addition to its enchanting setting, the O’ St-François will offer its residents entertainment, security and many services. A leisure specialist will be on site to offer a variety of activities. They will also have a pool, bowling alley, exercise room, and cinema at the residence. Residents will also have access to many other services, including a dining room with table service, hair salon, convenience store, car wash and transportation services. Lastly, they will have security cameras, smoke detectors, and emergency alert systems to ensure the safety of all residents. The building will also be equipped with a sprinkler system.

  • The Maurice Group is launching its Résidence Vast construction project, that will be located in Sainte-Julie. — Set to open in November 2020

Vast

This project will be designed with autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors in mind. It will have 378 apartments ranging in size from 1½ to 5½. 358 of those apartments will have services,while 20 care units will be dedicated specifically to seniors with a loss of autonomy. In the outdoor areas, residents will be able to enjoy gardens and a recreational area. Inside, there will be relaxation spots including a lovely fireplace for maximum rest opportunities.

 New residences in Lanaudière

  • Sélection Retraite is building a new retirement home for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors in Repentigny: the Sélection Repentigny — Set to open in summer 2020

Sélection Repentigny

This building will have no less than 30 floors and will be constructed on the banks of the St. Lawrence. It will have a total of 289 units (2½ to 5½),including approximately thrity suites with care services. There will be several amenities available on site, including a pool, exercise room, dining room, cinema and a virtual golf simulator. Residents will have a spectaular view on Repentigny thanks to the patios that will be built on the fourth and sixth floors of the complex.

  • Joliette will soon have a new retirement home: the Résidence Arthur B. — Set to open summer 2020

Arth

Located close to rue Saint-Thomas and boulevard Dollard, this 8-floor building will have 215 apartments ranging in size from 1½ to 5½. The residence will be attached to the Seigneurie Arthur-Beauséjour, which means that this complex will be able to offer many services: a pool, golf simulator and bowling alley. The safety of residents will be overseen by qualified staff 24/7 and there will be a practical nurse on site 7 days a week.

New residence in Laval

  • The Maurice Group is launching a new construction project for seniors: Résidence IVVI, a retirement home for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors in Laval-Ouest — Set to open September 2020

This retirement home will be built in the heart of downtown Laval, just across fromCentropolis. The Résidence IVVI will have 400 unitsranging in size from 1½ to 5½. This complex will offer a wide range of services that are included in the cost of the rent.

New residence in Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine

  • A new retirement home will open this year in Îles-de-la-Madeleine.The Résidence Plaisance, for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors — Set to open December 2020

The Résidence Plaisance will offer future residents outdoor parking, access to a free laundry room on each floor, many outdoor spaces (patios, porch swings, community gardens and more) as well as WiFi. There will be a wing with 143 units for autonomous seniors or those with a light loss of autonomy. Another wing of the complex with 65 rooms will be dedicated to seniors with a loss of physical or cognitive autonomy. On site, there will be a practical nurse available 24/7. All rooms and bathrooms will be equipped with an emergency call bell.

 New residence in the Laurentides

Résidence ste-adèle

This new residence will be located on the former site of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame de Montréal residence. In its first phase, it will have 160 apartments (studios, 3½ and 4½) and will also have elevators, many air-conditioned common areas, a dining room with table service and a library.
